An Inside Look at Google

I've represented Google at many events for women in engineering, and I'm always asked the same thing: "What's it like to work there?"

- Jen Fitzpatrick, Engineering Director, Google

Speed of innovation is the theme at Google - from just days or weeks after self initiated brainstorming.  We have cited Google before as  a company to watch and this new launch of Google  Video places them in our blog again.

We ask:
Where are people looking for EmergingC21OrgModels ?
Seems the answer is worth a look.

Victoria, thanks for sharing the Google video. Insightful about the fast moving Google culture that gets products out the door with energy and enthusiasm. Interesting too about the 80/20 rule. I recall reading concern that a new GE Six Sigma trained CEO's potential negatively impacting MMM's innovative culture where I believe they also allowed R&D people to devote X% of company time to their projects. Separately how smart of Google to build the tools to enable easy sharing and distribution of their video to promote their company.
